Building around Berkshire weather

Exterior work has a calendar. Entries, porches, and weatherization can happen in winter if the opening is planned. Additions and siding prefer shoulder seasons. We will not pretend otherwise to win a start date.

Old houses here sit on stone, frost, and previous repairs. The honest move is to look, then write what we find. The first visit is for that — not for a brochure.

If your project can wait for the right weather, it should. If it cannot — a leaking door in January — we plan the protection first.
